European Carbon Forum 2011 organised by Virtuse Group took place in Bratislava on November 25, to provide Slovak experts with information about European emission trading system EU ETS.
"The new rules have caused confusion in the system of allocation and trading [of emission quotas]. Our intention was to provide all the subjects concerned with first-hand information about the new framework.
I an say we've succeeded in doing this thanks to the participation of top-ranking speakers," said Rastislav Vasilisin, chairman of the board of directors of Virtuse Group.
Among the speakers were Claire Dufour, business development director of the biggest global stock market trading emission quotas Bluenext in Paris, Bloomberg editor-in-chief for international emission markets
Alessandro Vitelli and head of the emission quotas trading section at Norwegian energy giant Statkraft.
